Remodelling 2.0

Re-remodelled. Found out about something called SSG - Static Site Generators. Using one called Hugo (as you can tell) and it seems pretty decent. I like the idea that the content is independent of the theming - previously was managing html pages individually which meant that as soon as I started that was pretty much it. I’ll add in the old posts and from here, and I’ll add the Remodelling 1.0 below

Going to try and set up someplace for thoughts and feelings as cringe as that may sound. With nobody interested in listening, why not simply scream into the void? Not sure if I want to keep this setup but it’s something nostalgic for now. Who knows, maybe I’ll forget about this in a couple of weeks.

Not really sure how this should look tbh. Ideally a templated post page that can be used for each entry. Currently not sure how that’d look compared to the main page so here we are with the same look as the main page.

I’m writing this in nano on the server lol. There’s no fancy here, just ultra ghetto from 2010~ era of when I had a couple of websites running. I can look at some content management modules (infact, I looked into some simple foss blog setups but it was all very not “here’s a docker compose file, go nuts” and I’m a little tired so I didn’t bother looking into it. No, not sleepy tired, tired.

It took way longer than it should’ve to find this holy shit. Anyway this seems good enough for now. Still have some security things I want to do to tighten up but that can be done later.
